Ratman they were on the skid that came from chiefs.
There junk.
Trying to figure out what they were using for there combo.
Im thinking in the neighbor hood of 260-280
714 lift solid roller.
I really need to cc these ports and flow them.

thats almost the same thing im going to be running in my blower motors, what cams were in your iron head blown motors? sell those hyd cams on ebay, the car guys pay all the money for used bbc parts. clean up the lobes with a scuff pad take a clear pic and put it on ebay i usually get 75% of the new price, it amazes me what the car guys will pay. i sold a set of rusty hyd roller lifeters that i said had corrosion and minor rust, i got 195 bucks for em, no way id run them in one of my motors
the car guy was a happy camper with em

I was using the crane 741. I have two sets of roller lifters
great shape one season on one two on the other.
I hot tanked these and have been cleaning them up.
Who has Chief style valves in stock?
This is what I have been looking at.
Big ports. Can ya see the epoxy corners.
These were on Troy dennis motors.
Stamped Gary Porter Improved these heads.
No Dart casting numbers. Called Dart
there the old 18 degree thick casting
which were sent out of Dart as blank castings.
Gonna send them out new seats and have em cc,d.

those ports look like the ports on the new profiler heads rectoval, should make some big hp, you were running 10lbs of boost on your cast iron head 540's so you should be able to run 14lbs of boost with these alum heads right
