Ahhh, got ya. In fact, now that I know the boat you are working on, I know the situation you're in. I have a friend with a 1989 311 that we did some engine work, new Revolution Marine exhaust, and so on. In fact, thanks to my friends boat, a prototype spacer was created by Revolution Marine, who now offers this spacer for just this specific application.

Gordo, I'm not sure if it will help, but I bought a set of pipes like yours and wanted to use them on a Bravo setup. I cut my pipes at angles twisted the cut pipe and rewelded them together at the correct angle. The water dumped into the exhaust at the at the first cut. This is before I polished them.

Re: TRS pipes with "Wedges"?
Payton,
Thanks, but I'd like to have true dry pipes all the way. Besides, I don't know of anyone around here that is that good with a welder... ;) |
