I built one like the top picture from this post #20. Works great on my #6 drives where you do not really need the adjustability other than up and down. Cost me 120.00 for materials and a few hours in the shop.

Let's be honest none of them work that great. All of them make it just barely tolerable. At the end of the day drives are a pain in the ass to get on and off. Between the Jack, lining up the hydraulic Rams, splines on drive, bolt holes, claw for shifting, not scratching the paint, the oddly shaped cavitation plate, etc...its a real cluster f*ck.

^^^^ is that drive stand big enough for Bravo III's and Volvo Penta Dual prop outdrives and they won't be too top heavy for your stand especially jacking it to full up position.
Does it have a locking brake persay if one should work on the drive itself being mounted to stand ? is the stand stable enough to even work on bravo III apps ? Just asking
What is your range furthest travel down to furthest travel up ? Can you measure that and with a Bravo drive on it but measure that travel distance from the U-Joint shaft at horizontal position ( full up and full down position) without hitting the skeg if all possible. Thanks

I have never had anyone complain about my stand being tipsy and I have sold over 200 of them. The height range is 16 1/2" to about 40" It is designed so if you have a single Outdrive and the skeg is on the ground you can still get under the Cavitation plate. If you have a Dual Prop Outdrive I have the option of buying it with a pair of tube extensions that can be extended for the dual props or stored for Regular Outdrives
