Default Bw 72 Trans--- Should I Freshen Or Sell As Is ?

i got my new tranies-- huber hm 1200s (new to me -- low hrs ) my bw tranies are stock off merc 420s till i upgraded the power last year -- hp500s with blowers the tranies slipped under full power a couple of times but still work. if i sell them as is, someone could put new cluches in them or they could build them stronger with more clutch plates.
i could freshen them up but i dont know if someone would want them stock. i want to recoupe some of my money i spent on the new ones --- mine have 207 hrs on them
thanks for any input kevin

Thumbs up Re: Bw 72 Trans--- Should I Freshen Or Sell As Is ?

You can easily do it yourself. These marine tranny guys charge alot of moolah, and you will end up giving the tranny's away cheap after you are all done. I would say with a tail stock, even slipping, they have to be worth at least $500 each. BBB

Are they TRS or Speedmaster couplers? I paid under $300 for my used TRS trannies including shipping, just to give you an idea.
