What was the last year Mercruiser offered 454 w/carb ?

Had a 97 with a Gen VI 454 Magnum. Don't know if it was a 96 motor or not. Think this may have been it for the carbs. Was a good engine though.

In '97 Merc offered the 454 Mag Carb (365 HP), and the 454 Mag MPI (385 hp), that was the last year for the carb black motors.
