Sorry to bring up a old post but did you repin to the MEFI-4 or not. If you used your freinds ECU which was a three and it worked just fine I have to wonder why. I am making a change right now with my ECU and I m just wondering what to expect.

You can not just plug and play from MEFI 3 to MEFI 4 - There is a harness adaption that comes with MEFI 4 that is added on top of. Also there is not just one MEFI 4 for all apps.

I asked this before is this Dave _ N guy around - heck he is pretty sharp about this OEM EFI and MPI systems. I came across a couple of other posts from him while searching for a post of mine last year.

I have a couple of sheets of paper that have the pin to pin conversion for 3 to 4/a/b.repinning wasn't all that bad.
