Hi Guys, I Am Installing Pyro Meters To My Boat. I Need To Know What # Cylinders Is Best To Put The Sensor On. Thanks.

That really depends on what motor you have, also which intake.

For a 502 with a mercruiser dual plane, I think #2 is a good bet, however that's about the hardest one because of the raw water pump.

I have mine in 7 & 8, but I dynoed the motor with 8 egt probes and with a single plane intake there was very little difference between the cylinders.
