Mercruiser low water "muffs"
I'm looking for the outdrive "muffs" :D for a Mercruiser bravo 1 with low water pickup. Looks like a cone with a bungie so you can run the engine out of water. Anybody have one available or have a link where I can buy one? :drink:

Re: Mercruiser low water "muffs"
I have a LWP too. For about $5 from ACE hardware, I put together an adapter that adapts from a garden hose directly into the input of the raw water pump. It works well if it doesn't bug you to have to remove the input hose to the raw water pump every time and attach the adapter.

Re: Mercruiser low water "muffs"
I use regular muffs and a couple pieces of tape on the low water opening. Works fine.
