timing issues
twin mrec 600sc's merc book says 14deg @ idle and 33total.well, one engine is there i mean dead nutz. the other is 33 or more @ idle. what gives? im tired so i might be forgeting the obvious so sombody wake me up

It could be that the module is stuck at full advance on the engine that is at 33* @ idle. What happens to engine with more rpms??? Does it advance more??????

well , after talking to another friend he stated i was 1 tooth off on the distributor. i did the checks he said and i tend to believe him. now i have to pull the blower and play that game :mad:

You don't HAVE to pull the blower or remove the distributor. You can just move every plug wire on the distributor cap 1 or 2 spots as long as you keep them in order.
