Foot Throttle for Twins?
#11
I use a foot throttle on my twin outboard cat. I like it a lot. It is the second boat with twins I have owned with a foot throttle. I forget who makes a very nice throttle, but it has a split foot pedal to allow you to roll your foot for different throttle positions for each engine. I have seen those on Dave's Custom Boats.

That's the single version. The twin engine version looks just like that except the pedal is split in two (actually the top left hand corner is a separate pedal) so that you can roll your foot from one side to the next to sync engine speed. I agree that would be very uncomfortable in a stand up boat.
Check out CP Performance. I know they list the single version on their online catalog.

Part #202 FTR
I ran a land and Sea unit on a single that allowed the foot throttle to "overide" the hand throttle but the hand throttle still was functional
Will this one do the same thing?
Anyone know the cost? is CP the only dealer?
