I have a Autometer Procomp Marine GPS speedo part no 200846-35r1.The boat supplier forgot to fit the recall switch which has now been sent to me.The switch is an 3 pin momentary on,on rocker style. How do i connect it to the existing head unit. The head unit is compatible. It has 2 plugs from the rear 1 for the GPS receiver.Any help greatly appreciated.

The small plug is usually the GPS ant...the other plug has the power/gnd/switch wires from it....the recal switch gets wired with the orange/purple/gray wires.....in that order....purple being in the middle.....the orage on the "recal" side of the switch and gray on the "clear" side of the switch....atleast that the way the Livorsi units do it and they are made by that same company .....hope that helps

I would guess the plug for the recall is the much larger plug like on the Livorsi GPS? Do you have the plug and wire?

If so, I can take photos of the Livorsi wiring for you.

Hi Fred, no all i have is a rocker style switch. There is nowhere to plug another harness into in the back of the gauge.I though i must have to splice cables from the switch to existing cables already in the back of the unit.

Not sure if this will help but here is one Livorsi diagram.

There are others on the site, maybe one will match your unit.
