I need to buy a pair of muffs and I'm not really sure of what style to get. Can anyone recommend a top shelf model / manufacturer? I have an XR drive if that really matters.

I spoke with Bob Teague at the LA Boat Show earlier this year about this. He is REALLY impressed with the Gibson muffs. They have the Bullet that do not cause any power loss and are supposed to meet the 88dB laws out west. He used to recommend the Northstars, but favors Gibson over them.

If you can find a dealer that hasa any GGB's still in stock then get the Extremme -Tansom Mount or Clamp On.
