I the pic above it looks like the oil filter is part of the system/T-STAT? Or do you have to run hoses from the t-stat to the filter pad? JIM Jim, That is a picture of my new set-up. Yes, the filter mount is also the t-stat housing. The way it works is when the oil is cold, it is filtered and pumped back to the engine. When hot enough, the t-stat opens sending the oil to the cooler then filter then back to the engine. Vinny |
