I have a 26' Infinity with a single 454 HO 425 hp. It runs really flat and i cant trim out that much without the prop losing some grip. Im turning a 25p mirage plus. I was wondering if an extension box will help any with my problem. Right now i just have power steering assisted cable steering. I was thinking about going with a setup with steering made on to the unit. Will this have any effect on the ride? thanks JLAY

An extension box is a rather big purchase and install. There are some simple things to try first. Try a 4 blade Bravo 1 prop, that will give more bow lift. A simple prop change may solve your problem.

I would ask this question in Prop Talk.
I thought the Bravo 1 gave less bow lift and more stern lift than the Mirage Plus, and the Revolution 4 gave more bow lift and less stern lift than the Bravo 1? The Prop guys will point you in the correct direction.
