Default Ron Hill Propellers??

Anyone ever use Ron Hill Propellers? The reason I'm asking this and posting it in the general discussion, not the prop section,is I was looking at his website and they are offering 5 blade props in all their available pitches for 395$ and ALOT more people look in this section,I'd love to hear anyones experience and opinions. I have never heard anyone mention this company,I would suspect they are either mediocre or having a fire sale. I actually have all the props I think I might need for now but have thought about getting some 5 blades if I go to a shorty drive and this price is unbelievable low,I guess you get what you pay for,I'm kind of leary,Smitty

Artic have dealt with Ron very straight up guy... his props run About 150-200 rpm lower than a bravo one thus about 1.5 mph slower (four blade verse his 4 blade) so if your running A 30" wheel your going to need A 28" in his offering( 4 blade) a five will be like 2-1/2 pitches less ( I think )call him @ 714-608-7147

Ron calls thing the way they are. he has the fastest lab bravo one prop that I've come across (1 mph faster then the second best on the same day !!... I have tried merc, Bronson, throttle, ex.)

sorry this is so long S.K.

Interesting find Smitty. The 5 blades are smaller in dia. than Bravo 1 props. I wonder if that makes a difference?

I bought a 4 blade from him a couple of years ago for my Pantera. Mine had alot of cup in it. It was a 22 on a 1.36 drive, but turned more like a 23 or 24. He does tell you like it is...

Who is Chad Hill? I see him advertising in Hot Boat Mag. Are they formerly the same company?

I"m pretty sure that is Ron's son. I want to say he took over the company and Ron started making props again a few years later.
