Look for the belt drive pump that came with gen 5 motors, these can easily be upgraded with a Carter M61045 mechanical pump from summit. You just switch out the valve body of the carter pump on to the mercruiser pump lever assy. Requires #10 inlet size hose and #8 outlet I believe. No regulator.

Did this on my buddies 560hp BBC, has been reliable for 3 years.

I have a set of fresh "worked" 188s for sale with 121cc chambers...
Stainless/inconel valves.

I should have asked here first! I ordered a set of brodix heads from tony barker racing today.

I dout there the marine.Tony mainly does drag and dirt motors .He would not even dyno my little blower boat motor.D

I called Brodix and talked to them about my application, They explained that is would be a special order and had me order through Tony. Tony's making sure I get the right hardware.

Just to be sure, did you bolt the lover fuel pump house from the Carter to the upper fuel pump house from Mercruiser pump. And that way you have a USCG marine fuel pump.?
