anyone have a usable 97ish 502 mag mpi alternator, PART NUMBER 862031 ... they want to sell reasonaby. ive had one fail and don't trust the rebuilding shop here at all. i believe it needs a stator. with primary battery lead hooked up it gets really hot and becomes hard to turn as if the varnish on the coils has failed or something and its going to ground.... bearings wern't much good anyway.
