Teague Marine wants $6,800 for the exact same engine. I even drove down to Teague's shop and spoke with the Head Cheese myself (Mr Teague) to see if he could match it. He said there is no way they could sale that motor for $5,300, it has to be automobile crate engine. I asked him what his part # was for the Marine 502 crate, and his # was the same as the one for $5,300. To make along story short, after he made many phone calls to other suppliers, he basically told me to go phuck myself and I was making this price up. So I said call him yourself, and that he did. He started drilling the guy about the specs on the motor. I guess he was satisfied with the guys answers and said if he cold sell them for $5,300, I'll order 10 right now. Which of course he never did. And then he said to me, go buy it, and that Im not going to lose money to pay for your boating. I personally thought he was rude. So much for asking for his autograph.

It's a no reserve auction so of course the starting bid will be high. Ad states the motor is in Miami.

I was going to go with runs new, but they didn't have any in stock and it was going to be 2-3 weeks before they could ship.
