Default Outdrive fluid Bottle

My bottle for my Bravo 1 leaks from the bottom in side there is a white thing. Is that just a sending unit for the warning alarm? Is there any thing special about this bottle? I have a few fluid reservoirs that would work and look better.

I never had problems with mine leaking, but just replaced mine with Teague's billet unit.

The cap is designed to vent at a certain pressure?
