Oil line to remote filter
 

Well I'm relocating my oil fliter to make room for the headers. It's a 1998 502 efi and all my factory lines are 1/2" flare. So in the oil cooler I have an inverted flare. What's the best way to lengthen the lines? Does anyone make an adapter to go from 1/2" inverted flare to 8an? Or does everyone normally have new lines made up?

I would love to know that also I am getting ready to buy a new cooler with npt. so I can use 12 an fitting and stainless hose.

If your upgrading the cooler then I would just buy a new adapter and remote filter pad. Then everything will be national pipe thread, you wouldn't have any flare fittings to deal with.
