Still waiting for pricing and then the first set of experimental gears. I was out on the river for the first time this year saturday,there was 5 boats in a twenty mile stetch and it was 82 degrees out which is nice for around here. If that was a sign of how boating is going to be affected by the high gas prices I might have to re-think about making a large investment in aftermarket gears.I'm still doing the original gear treatments for fellow boaters with pretty good success incuding myself for now,Smitty

Are these improved gears available for sale? Is there a way I can contact you or you me? I need a gear set and if I could purchase something better than from merc I am interested. Thanks Tom.

Nobody has come up with a stronger gear for the Bravo drive yet. I had looked into it and was starting to get something going, but then lost my job and the R&D money was gone.

You can get the gears Cryo treated, but they will still break eventually.

Or switch to Konrads

Don't the Konrad's use the merc lower gears still?

Has anyone hit up the ring and pinion guys for help? It seems like motive gear or the likes could help in producing gears that last..
