running warm to 180

ive got two new 557s w/littlefeild blower, innercoolers, dual dominators, when i go out and run it the temp on one motor goes to 180 and appears to climb higher, if i shut it down and restart it it drop 15degrees instanstly, but come back up there is no thermostat, just a crossover. when idling it flows plenty of water out the exhaust fed by #12 hose and fittings. the pump is different from last year new hoses ,oil coolers but does the same thing as last year water pressure is low to zero at speed but flows fast, checked for stopped up but flows freely. do you think the exhaust it not letting pressure build up or , maybe when someone installed the nose cone they messed up and it is restricted :(

There Is No Place For Thermostats

Re: running warm to 180

it seems as someone installed the nose cone maybe wrong? maybe the WATER inlet hole is maybe stopped up, water pressure is low, everthing has been changed on this boat, motors, hoses, coolers, seawater pumps, everthing but the drive. maybe when they plugged the upper holes they closed the water pickup alittle.
