As an armchair engine builder, I always enjoy Laz's posts.
A lot of engine builders don't post here because it always ends in a debate. I think Laz is a gearhead like alot of us and enjoys discussing his craft. Regardless of what is claimed, at least we get to see some engine development(and don't have to pay for it ourselves).
So continue the posts Laz...

just my look on it as I dont have a dog in this fight...
Laz is saying they did all the research, even thought the nitro rings arent his. even though the engine has been gone through with numerous changes and is using different turbos.
Tyson is saying the exhaust, intake and the bracketry is the same as the barn engines and that Laz shouldnt be taking credit for "engineering" this when all he is doing is continuing where someone left off.
Sooooo the question is, is Laz correct in saying that the new part of making these engines run correctly is his design, or Tyson saying that all he did was take someone elses stuff and continue with it.

I can tell you we dynoed on of the engines when they came in and it made 1200hp but not on pump gas . If we get to the point I did screw up in not clarifying the size of the engines now my bad.

I would also like to see the progression / taming / etc,etc of a motor project like this. Not an everyday event.
Let's try to start this whole thread over. Too many typos, not giving history on these motors, etc, etc, etc
Ok, so we have a 4.440 bore and 3.850 stroke.
