Sub Box Fabrication Question.........

I am going to use the two 10" subs under the rear bench seat in my 29' Warlock World Class(running free air). My question is fastening the new box to the front panel the speakers are already mounted to. I am going to use 3/4" MDF and resin the whole thing. Once cured I was going to use a ton of carpenters glue and screws to fasten it to the current wood there. I was going to use clamps also to get the tightest fit possible. The next day I will install the subs and away I go. Is this the best way to do this?
