Does anybody have a Kaama drive repair manual that I can get a copy of? I would like to get a copy for my records before none are available.
I am currently replacing the bearings in my transom plates. There are two bearings supporting a short shaft, these bearings are pre lubricated and sealed. They are protected from bilge water and boot water by lip seals. Should this cavity be left dry or should it be semi packed with grease to help prevent corrosion?
Thanks for any help.

Cuda,
My drives run great, I went through them with new bearings and seals about 8 years ago. They are a simple drive, I was just hoping to get a manual. I am thinking of selling and the more info I have the better.
Thanks for any help.

i have changed mine, they are sealed bearings. it definately does not hurt to have some kind of corrosion protection on the bearing cases, especially in the salt environment.
