Why not just have an oversize swim platform that extends a little farther then the drives extend.....hitting that would be allot less expensive then cracking cav plates off a drive or sheering pivot pins.....it may look a little strange having a big swim platform on the back but then again you could have it up against the wall when docked in backwards and not worry about hitting the drives...

wally: we are prob gonna get a swim platform, but would have prefered something that would be less noticeable and not get in the way of exhaust, name on back etc.
thanks dixie, but all of those guards look like they owuld disrupt flow of the prop
arctic: its been taking a loong while...the motors are finished and we FINALLY found a dyno shop with 02 and air/fuel ratio, that is open for us to use in tenassee, so once we get engine dynoed we just need to drop engines in, cut holes for rear stainles amrine exhaust, send back the mockup pipes for the center engine to stainless once we are sure they wil work, redeisng some way to lift the hatch...and find some way ot muffle the center engines exhaust
i wouldnt think if you welded a 6inch extension to the cav plate and stuck rubber padding on the end like the type used dock poles would break if hit at slow speeds.
thanks for help and feedback

Areneson's have guards...... A bit different since that won't be in the water while running like a bravo cavitation plate would.

a couple of these plates may save your props from the concrete wall...

not hitting the wall would be a better plan....
