Ok there has been alot of talk about the V10 Chrys. Engine and it's lightweight aluminum block and head set up . We had a friend from Venezuela come see us at the boat show in Feb. and ask me if I would take the project on they wanted to break their speed record on the river. We took two blocks and the first thing we did was to change the original main caps to billet 8620 material from the cast this is an operation we've done many of times for the road race Vipers which will break them in sustained high power outputs. Here are a couple of pics of the billet caps and the original cast caps. We're going to use custom billet cranks by Moldex . Hope you guys enjoy we're also going to show some lifter bore mods we do for the solid roller conversions.

Does this mean the OE intake port cannot do what it should ? Even with major reworking ?
Cool build up BTW. I don't read much stuff on these motors.
