I baught this boat in Port Lavaca, Texas, the person i baught it from, purchased it at an estate sale in florida it was the estate of DALE ERNHARDT, he baught the boat right before he died, he was going to put a nascar motor in it, the title says it was built by don aronow, and the guy i baught it from said it was built in italy, then ship to the united states, can someone tell me what kind of boat this is, it is a V-DRIVE, and is sposedly built in 79

Kind of looks like an Excalibur or a 28 Cigarette.
1979 and Don Arronow seems like that would make it a Magnum. But, it doesn't look deep enough to be a Magnum to me.

Something about that boat has been posted on OSO before. If I remember correctly, it was an Aronow hull that was sent to Italy.

Nice boat! Try and restore to its original set up and condition. Real classic with the v-drive.
