Will I Gain Anything By Adding A Nose Cone To My Bravo 1 On A 91 21 Scarab. Hydomotive Labbed 24p Prop.

yes you will pick up some speed. I have seen between 3-5 mph just by adding a cone on some of my past boats..

I have talked to hydromotive about nose cones on my bravo 1 and they have told me twice that i will gain nothing on a bravo 1 unless you are going over 80mph. I did put one on my king cobra and it picked up about 2-3mph and i was only running 55 stock so go figure

This is what I've heard.

I'd spend the money elsewhere to get the speed.

I have two lower units one with a Bravo shop nose cone and one without, no difference in speed at 75-77mph. You will have to get an aftermarket speedo pickup if you go with the nosecone.

LOOKS LIKE I WILL SPEND THE MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE. I AM DONE WITH THE ENGINE SO MAYBE THE TRAILER.
