Can you run your engine to limp you home if your blower belt breaks? Will it idle or what kind of affect will it have on your motor. As anyone even delt with this before?
Thanks in advance,
Shawn

I puked my procharger in early july, drove boat back acrossed the bay with the belt off. It idled a little rougher and I kept it under 3000 rpm's. When I dynoed motor we tried making a pull without belt on to see what motor wouyld make on its own but it actually leaned out above 3000 rpm's with no boost. If you wanted to cover all your bases you could have motor dynoed with and without the blower operating and have a extra ecm with a N/A program but I'm not sure what would happen on a whipple with air trying to spin the blower,Smitty
