I changed my oil today in my 540. Fram HP-6 filter was cut open. Not much was in there, looked clean except for these 2 pieces of copper colored flakes. One is maybe .050 the other .020 in diameter. Other than those 2, just some small dust particles in there. Engine has about 100 hours, filter had 20 hours.

Bearings are all toast. If you've got that much metal in there, then all them will need replaced.
