Default Prop shaft splines are jacked!

A couple weeks ago I noticed one of my props was a little loose so I tightened the nut and it's been fine since.

I've been wanting to try some 23s so I took the 21s off and one goes on fine and the other doesn't go on all the way. So I tried the other prop and figured out it was the shaft not the prop.

Anyway.....I went about cleaning and de-burring to no avail. So I looked down the splines and they look like they are tweaked a little bit......not much....but enough so the prop won't go on all the way. It's only about a half inch......

Should I just run it on with the nut?.......or is thing going to get stuck on there?.......it looks like I could use a puller to get it off again if I had to?

Thanks....
