anyone ever run one of these? its a 89 predator 24. i picked it up rigged with a 454 mag and (best part) merk #3 drive. it also came with a 477 aluminum head motor all egal internals and all new in boxes. any details anyone can give me about it would be helpfull. I talked to the guys at vicious who now own the molds from this boat and they were pretty helpfull.

Does that boat have some high bolster seats in it? I think I know the boat. It was owned by a guy in Chestefield Twp. MI.
It got used very little and stayed right on the Salt River.

Before you start putting a blower on that thing, maybe you should think about some hydraulic steering. A 7 ft. beam boat can get exciting over 70 MPH. Boats like this are a lot of fun to drive, but can be a handfull.

That boat was really cammed up and it sounded like it had dry exhaust with the modified engine. Your 62 MPH sounds just about right if you were running a 330HP with a bravo. With the speedmaster it sounds about right if you were running a 365 HP Mag.

the boat has hydraulic steering, its on the inside of the hull. no more cable over junk... it did at one time have an aluminum head 496 in it. it went bang and he went back to the stock 454. i got ll the other parts too. they are all fresh waiting to be put back together. i just need to get a new set of lower comp pistons. this time he was gonna go 10.5:1 and i want the blower so i gotta swap them for some less agressive ones. this year she will fly for her size. as ofr the bottom pain, the guy just finished the first coat of paint the thing ever had the day i looked at it so i didnt have the heart to tell him it had to go... he even bought the good stuff.
