Help! Rocker Arm Question for 502 Gen 6 (1998)

Does anyone know if the Magnum roller tip rocker arms (1:7 ratio) from Comp Cams will fit under the stock valve covers without any modifications?
Not sure if I want to grind the drip rail for roller rockers......

I had to grid them off for my roller rockers.

I'd keep the stockers over roller tips.

If you upgraded camshaft where rollers are needed I'd spend the money for good full rollers.

I changed from the stock 3/8" and had 7/16" studs put in the heads at a local machine shop. Now the rocker balls do not fit the studs and I have to do something else.

Does the jessel system fit under stock valve covers and without any mods?

If your cam/springs/pushrods etc,etc is stock Mercruiser, and since you converted to Mark IV style 7/16" rocker studs, you can just buy a set of GMPP rocker arms (come with balls) for the Mark IV BBC.

These should be them:

Or full roller rockers as discussed.

Shawn - The Crane Gold's are high quality full roller rockers. They are good.

He was talking about the 'roller tip' Comp rockers. These still use a ball set up like OE but put a roller tip in this style rocker arm. See pic below of this type.
