My enclosure I'm building surrounds the flame arrestor,
and is ducted to the sides, near the inlet vents, so it
will pick up external air.....basically doing the same thing
your system is doing.
The thought on additional bilge blowers are to
help draw in and move air through the engine compartment,
just to reduce the ambient engine compartment temps.
I guess the best thing to do is run a temp probe in
the engine compartment and make shure it stays under
176*.
