Procharger with Eickert Headers
#1
I'm thinking about getting a Procharger M3 kit but I'm worried about the clearance for my Eickerts. Does anyone know if the M3 will fit with Eickerts or CMI sport tubes?
Thanks,
Frank

From what I can see no way possible. I had to shorten the airhorn and take 1/3 of the inlet filter screen off my m-3 to clear my stainless marine hi tq 3's,not something I really wanted to do!!!It looks like your maniifolds are much further forward than my risers,I'll post pics and you be the judge,Smitty

from the looks of it, the only choice I would have is a custom bracket that will push the blower farther out so the air horn would be on the outside of the header.
Thanks for the pics!

Go to plan "B"
Buy a Whipple instead. You won't be sorry !!!

I agree. Just don't get the old "mounted sideways to the MPI intake" deal - it won't fit.
Their newer systems are better anyway and should fit no issue

I really like the way the power comes in with the centrifigals, they have to be easier on drives. I guess since my goal is between 600 and 650hp that I can just as easily do it NA with a nice 540. I think it will be more cost effective to do it without supercharging.

I'd still say go with the blower. It will idle like a stocker and run like a Banshee. Just don't air it out and hammer it off the line and the drive will be fine. I speak from experience !!!

ls1Nova - centrifugals on boat create boost real quick on boats. They aren't as drive friendly as you'd think. Remember, most are set up to make maz boost at 5200-5400 vs a car's 6000+, so they are geared pretty steep.
Many of us fell for that same thought too, only to realize, just a few psi difference when planing.....hard.......booom....crack.
Either way, you must throttle gently.
