6al 4v is the most common and is used widly in the aerospace industry. If you go to matweb you can look up all the differnt types and their properties. Just depends on the application.

Here's a chart I got from Titanium Engineers at the PRI show.The rep said the grade 5 and better is what most people use.hope this helps ? :D
