Yep, there was a Baja 240 for a few years in the mid/late 90's with a built in platform. Sit down boat, low profile and small cockpit with around a 20* deadrise. Not sure if it was a renamed 226es. |

In the mid 90's they renamed the 226 the 240 (length including platform) it makes it confusing, the true 240(square back) is the 24degree bottom.
My brother has a 91 Bandit w/502 Mag carb, it runs 80 on the speedo. |

I had the almost the exact same boat(color and power) and it was not a 75mph boat. Fastest I had it was up around 67mph(speedo) and on water with very little chop. Did run full out next to a guy with a gps speedo. He clocked at 66mph and I still had some more trim for speed, but not 9mph worth. Matt |
