two 502 from long island to miami via r+l truck was just about 500 bucks 18 mos ago

Make sure they give you a firm delivery date.. A lot of the cheaper companies will just wait till there is room on a load going that way to put them on and it may be 1 day or 2 weeks before they actually goout.

Make sure the rate states all inclusive. Fuel surcharge is a huge suprise.

Info they will need, class 55, crated, pallet size and estimated weight at 950 lbs. each., zip code from and the zip code to locations.

They do not have to know what you are shipping.

I reccommend being fully crated and a heavy duty pallet.

2 day service from Va to Fl.

That is correct.....however if there is a problem at class 55 the insurance payout is minimal. An engine needs to ship class 85 insured for the value of the engine.

Pantera, From california to illinois, call Yellow. There the fastest coast to coast line haul. They have teams that leave chicago ridge, ill about every six hours. It takes a team 44 hours to get there. They run all over the west coast and north west. I used to run those runs about eight years ago. Brian
