KE EX now being produced by ?
|

A lot of water, pardon the pun, has gone under the bridge, or in the engines, since this thread started. I'm glad to see it come back around to where one can get the KE's and of course the GenX's are out now.
Any comparisons between the KE's and the GenX's? |

I just bought a barely used set of these instead of tube headers and planning to run them dry. I really like the engineering that went into these and their solid reliability record in racing applications. I think they look awesome as well. And if you don't who cares? I'm not lifting the hatch every 5 mins showing off the engine?!

My old neighbor in MI had those on his boat. He had a N/A 555CI engine and ran them dry boat sounded bad a$$ and was super loud! I thought they looked cool in his boat.

Borgie, nice manifold. Why are you thinking of running it dry? You'd have over heating problems at the exhaust flanges that way,no?

Dry as in the cooling water never mixes with the exhaust stream .
I know that, lol. I've installed Stellings dry exhausts before. Not a fan of dry exhausts anymore. http://www3.telus.net/spectrasonly/c...20interior%201 Got EMI wet manifolds with s/s risers on same engine now.. No rpm drops over the Stellings what so ever. We had over 104 db with the Stellings,Won't pass with the water popo on the lakes! |
Noise laws are only enforced at havasu. The lake I frequent, not unless you are a total D bag.
