Default Out drive shortening/cutting

Who can do this??
I need to raise my X dimension on my Bravo drives about 3/4" , Maybe as much as 1". I did a search in the forums but didn't come up with much info on who can do a good job of it.
Also what would be the cost of doing this on 2 drives.

I'm pretty sure you cant cut them. Theres too many places inside you couldn't weld back together. I'm not saying it's impossible, just not practical.
You need to buy shorter drives like IMCO shorties

MAXX (oso member) was doing this a couple yrs ago and installing steel towers. Never heard of the final outcome. This was the same time frame he and Brian where building/developing the XS hyd. steering system. Haven't seen post from either guys last couple yrs, so not sure what's what.

Found it. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...=drive+cutting

I am looking for a -2 Imco lower if anyone has one. Just a case is really all I want, but I'll take an entire lower also.

I was talking to a guy a few weeks ago who had (2) 2 inch shorties (Imco's I think) and wanted $3K each for them. Something like 20 hours or less on them.
If anyone is interested in 2 inch shorter lowers at $3K I'll try to find and post his info.

Nope!!
Winter hasn't been bad at all, hell Spring is just around the corner.
PS dock prices might go up this year depending on how much this little venture might cost me.
Just kidding
