Default switch hydralic hatch ram to electric??

just curious if anyone has down this, in a sunsation 288 would be even better, right now it has a bennett trim pump that does the tabs and hatch opener, i would like to can the hydralic ram and go electric, which would make it alot quicker.. but how do i go about this? need to have a way to open it if the battery's are dead (there stored in engine area), and also need to know how to take the hatch power which goes to the bennett pump and move it to the electric hatch, or would i have to run new wires? any help would be awesome.

Default

you could use the bennett wires as a snake and pull a new length of duplex to the dash.
the switch for the elec ram will need to be wired as follows.

center terminals are positive and ground to the ram.the top terminals will be the the supply hot and ground and will then need to be jumped and criss crossed to the lower terminals of the switch .
the switch will need to be a dual pole momentary on-off- momentary on

good luck
