Stock 330's Rocker Arms??????
What is the biggest lift cam that can be used with stock rocker arms ? (mk 4 330 motors)..Thanks
|
I would think around .550" would be about it, any more would really start adding extra wear on the guides
|
Thanks for the info.....Anyone else ?????
|
I would be more concerned with the springs and coil bind.
I think .550 would be pushing your luck. |
The springs and valves have been upgraded was just wondering if I can use my stock rocker arms ???
|
Not to be rude, but why cheap out on rockers? A nice set of full roller Harland Sharps is only about $200 - $250. Never need to question it then!

Summit has the Pro Form ones for $176 a set. They aren't the Crane Gold Race rockers, but they are MUCH better than stock and have a great price. Rocker arms is one of those places where it is worth it to step up. A broken rocker arm can be a small problem or a big problem.
I know about being a poor boy, but engine parts isn't the place to make it up. Just buy the rockers and then take the wife out to an expensive dinner:D |
I guess im just gonna have to upgrade them too:rolleyes: Thanks for the help

Good luck with it! You can blame me if you like!:drink:
