what is the advantage to painting the bottom silver?i thought no paint is what you want

good point

the purpose would be to look like the higher line (faster) drives I guess

but the buddies boat IS not painted and the aluminum is tarnished a little ( fresh water) was wondering if painting silver woudl look better,

but if the advantage is lost, then the next question is how do you keep the raw aluminum looking good .
would polishing defeat the pursose like paint does, are there any magic cleaners that keep it looking good?
