Would like to test my new boat today but I'm concerned about it freezing.Still a little cold here in colorado, never know what the weather will do.
I know how to drain the exhaust manifolds as I can see the drain plugs.Where would the drain plug be on my block.I sure cant seem to find them. It's a 99 502 mag.pictures would be great too.Thank you.

There are 2 pipe plugs,or might be pet cocks about 1" or 1 1/2"above the oil pan rails on the port and starboad side of the block . If you take them out and no water runs out push a small screw driver in the holes till the water runs out.Sometimes these holes skim over inside the block with rust and sediment, JOHN

unless someone changed them, the stock 1999 502 Mag has the blue nylon/plastic drain plugs with the wing nut type top so you can take them out without a wrench. There is one in the bottom of each exhaust manifold, one under the cool fuel, and one on each side of the block. The block ones are right above the pan rail, toward the middle of the block.
