I thought these drives where worth around $3,000.

If it's in good condition and you need one it's worth it. If you don't need it then post a phone number, city and state for all the board memebers. I'm sure someone here needs it.

Before I would buy a used drive I would have it pulled apart to verify condition. I was burned on a used drive that was supposed to have been rebuilt but had to rebuild everything except the housing. If it's in good condition that's a reasonable price but price is always negotiable.

Just remember the vert driveshaft for this drive is NLA by Merc and if it breaks the drive is gonna be a large paperweight.

I called the guy and he said its in good condition and has not been used the past couple of years.
