I ran Red-line 2 stroke oils in all my snowmobiles and jetski's...loved it....it actually gave off almost a race gas type of smell to it when it burned....got alot of questions about it

IMO Maxima Castor 927. I ran it in twin 2.5 liter carb HP Mercurys on nitrous oxide. Engines turned up to 9000 rpm on the juice. Ran a remote fuel cell with 100% alcohol and 927 as the enrichment fuel. Also mixed it 40 to 1 in the gas. This stuff is top of the line and keeps the combustion chambers and pistons very clean. It is expensive. Real popular with the high performance motorcycle crowd. One other plus is when the engines are running it smells just like those RC airplane engines (castor based oil) that burn nitromethane. Everyone swore I was running nitromethane. Those that had no clue thought it was the nitrous...

I can only say that in all the years we ran it, there was never ANY buildup inside one of our engines using it. It was definitely the hot stuff, and it did smell great too!

amsoil in two strokes is king. I have torn torn plenty of high mileage sled engines that have run it and they look great, plenty of cross hatch in the cylinders.

Maybe in snowmobiles, but not for outboards. Heard too many horror stories in high performance motors to ever use it in one of mine.

I personally run Klotz in mine, but there's a lot of guys running the Alisyn oil too.

But again, he's asking for oil in STOCK fishing motors. There's no reason to spend more money on something that's not intended to be run in his motors. The recommended Mercury oil is plenty sufficient. Plus a lot of the brands mentioned above are not suitable for oil injected motors.
