Question HP 6A question

Is there any difference between a HP-6 and a HP- 6A Fram oil filter?

The appear to be identical.

Back; I could only find the 6A on Summit. Did you find both? Were there differences?

Anyone know?

Does Fram have a website for these kinds of questions (as opposed to infomercial fluff for stock appication)?

On another vendor site, I found that the 6 is about 5/8" taller than the 6A. But no other differences. Back4more, did you find something different?

The 6A is shorter and has a rubber grip. Everything else is the same.

I have both, I can't see the difference in height and none have rubber grips. Maybe they're mislabeled
