Default crossovers

Hey guys, need some help. I have a HP 500 in a 25 Daytona. Added a crossover and now I have a cooling problem. I am going to check the water pressure but my assumption is the standard water pickup on the Bravo is not sufficent with a crossover. I have fine temps at idle and cruising 40-50 but high speeds it skyrockets. I appreciate any input.

I am running a crossover on a 454 with no cooling problems but i am not using a t-stat.

Make sure the t-stat is not sticking if you are running one also check your impeller.

I agree , sounds like a stuck t-stat , the water bypass will supply e-nuff water at adle but not at cruising speeds

I have tried t-stat, no stat and one with 2 1/4" holes in it. All the same problem and the impeller is fine.

back flush all the hoses for any possible blockage. Check the hose from the transom to pump make sure it does not have a kink in it.Check the oil cooler. Thats all i can think of.
