Hopefully I can explain enough to make sense. Boat runs great when it idles and the port engine runs great under a load. The starboard engine when it hits about 2500 rpm (under a load) sputters like its starving for gas and sometimes stalls out. It's very sporatic. Sometimes it happens like every ten seconds other times it won't happen for a few minutes. The engine always starts right back up and runs good until around that rpm range? Any thoughts? Oh, its a 496 mag engine.

Sounds to me like you may have some trash in your fuel. I would change the fuel filter and pobably blow out the lines. Do you notice it more on an empty tank?
